
Overview
Nag Tibba, also known as the Serpent's Peak, is the highest peak in the lesser Himalayas of the Garhwal region, standing at an altitude of approximately 9,915 ft. Located in the Tehri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, Nag Tibba is one of the best short Himalayan treks and is perfect for beginners, weekend travelers, and first-time trekkers. The trek offers a quick escape into the mountains with rewarding summit views of prominent Himalayan peaks such as Bandarpoonch, Swargarohini, Gangotri, and Kedarnath ranges.
Day-wise Itinerary
Day 0
Delhi to Dehradun
- Departure from Delhi at 9:00 pm
- Pick-up from Akshardham Metro Station
- Overnight journey to Dehradun
Day 1
Dehradun to Pantwari to Nag Tibba Base Camp
- Early morning arrival at Dehradun
- Freshen up and breakfast
- Drive to Pantwari village, the trek starting point
- Begin trek towards Nag Tibba Base Camp
- Walk through forest trails and small clearings
- Lunch during the trek
- Reach base camp by afternoon

Day 2
Nag Tibba Summit to Pantwari to Delhi
- Early morning breakfast
- Trek towards Nag Tibba Summit
- Enjoy panoramic views of the Garhwal and higher Himalayan ranges
- Descend back to Pantwari village
- Lunch
- Drive back to Dehradun
- Begin overnight return journey to Delhi
- Arrival in Delhi early morning (tentative)
