Kedartal Trek

Overview

The Kedartal Trek is one of the most challenging and rewarding high-altitude treks in the Indian Himalayas. Located inside Gangotri National Park in Uttarakhand, Kedartal is a pristine glacial lake situated at an altitude of approximately 15,500 ft, fed by the Kedar Glacier. The lake is surrounded by towering granite peaks such as Thalay Sagar, Bhrigupanth, Meru, and Jogin Group, making it a dream destination for experienced trekkers. This trek demands good physical fitness, prior trekking experience, and mental endurance. The trail involves steep ascents, rocky sections, river crossings, and high-altitude terrain.
