
Overview
The Kedarkantha Trek is one of the most popular Himalayan treks in India and is especially known for its snow-covered trails and consistent summit success rate. Located in Uttarakhand's Govind Wildlife Sanctuary, the trek reaches an altitude of approximately 12,500 ft and offers an ideal introduction to high-altitude trekking. With well-defined trails, scenic campsites, and gradual ascents, Kedarkantha is suitable for beginners while still providing a complete Himalayan trekking experience.
Day-wise Itinerary
Day 0
Delhi to Sankri
- Departure from Delhi at night around 9:00 pm
- Pick-up from Akshardham Metro Station
- Overnight journey towards Sankri via Dehradun
Day 1
Arrival at Sankri
- Arrival at Sankri village
- Check-in to guesthouse
- Evening briefing by trek leader
- Dinner and overnight stay

Day 2
Sankri to Juda Ka Talab
- Early morning breakfast
- Trek through pine and oak forests
- Lunch during the trek
- Reach Juda Ka Talab campsite
- Evening snacks

Day 3
Juda Ka Talab to Kedarkantha Base Camp
