
Overview
Auli is one of India's most picturesque mountain destinations, renowned for its snow-covered slopes, long ropeway rides, and panoramic views of the Garhwal Himalayas. Located in the Chamoli district at an altitude of around 8,500 to 10,500 ft, Auli offers uninterrupted vistas of peaks such as Nanda Devi, Mana Parvat, and Kamet. Known primarily as a skiing destination in winters, Auli also transforms into a serene hill retreat during summers.
